Itinerary

Day 1Cusco - Pisac - Urubamba - Ollantaytambo - Chinchero

In this tour, we will pick you up from your hotel at 6:30 am in a tourist transport to begin our journey towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This full-day excursion starts with a visit to CHINCHERO, a fortress and market where you can find a wide variety of handicrafts made by the local residents at very affordable prices. Next, we will make a stop at MORAY, an archaeological site located near Cusco, Peru. It is characterized by its circular terraces and is situated at an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level.

Moving on, we will reach the famous SALINERAS, located northwest of the village. These salt mines, also known as “salt mines,” consist of approximately 3000 small salt pools with an average area of 5 square meters each. During dry periods, these pools are filled with saltwater from a natural spring located above the wells.

Afterwards, we will make a brief stop in URUBAMBA, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant. We will then continue the tour towards the town and archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Finally, our last stop will be PISAC, a town rich in culture and archaeology. Here, we will visit the local market and the archaeological site. We will return and arrive in Cusco at around 7:00 pm.

Join us on this tour to explore these incredible destinations and immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of the Incas.

We will then board the bus that will take us on a 30-minute journey, ascending along a winding road to the incredible Machu Picchu.

After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu on your own. If you have admission to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, you can climb them after the guided tour at your own pace. We will then descend by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.
