Tips

Itinerary

Day 1Puerto Maldonado / Monkey Island / canopy in the trees / Lodge

Pick up from the airport and / or land terminal transfer to the office where they can leave some luggage that they will not take to the tour. Then transport to the port (port captaincy) 15 minutes by boat down the river, along the Madre de Dios river in a motorized boat that will take us to our lodge, where we will settle in our comfortable rooms, then accompanied by our guide we will hike through the trails of the lodge where our guide will explain the fauna and flora that inhabit this area. Then we will have lunch and then travel in our boat for 20 minutes until we reach the island of the monkeys, a great opportunity to see 5 species of monkeys that inhabit this island, then we will prepare to return to the lodge, and back at sunset we will observe alligators with the help of our flashlights,comfortable lodge .

Day 2Parrot clay lick / Tambopata Reserve “Lago Sandoval” / Caimaneo

Very early in the morning at 5:00 am we will go to visit the parrot clay lick la cachuela, in a trip of approximately 50 minutes, where it is possible to see a variety of species of parrots that gather on the wall of the Madre de Dios river. eating clay in a multicolored show of flying and screaming, an experience you will never forget. Then return to the lodge for breakfast, then we will prepare to visit Lake Sandoval for the whole day, from our lodge we will travel 10 minutes by boat until we reach the shores of the port of Lake Sandoval, from where we will enter the Tambopata Reserve “Lago Sandoval ”in a walk of approximately 1 hour, then we will arrive at the lake where we will take a rowing canoe to stroll through this beautiful lake that is home to a great variety of birds and animals.

Day 3Canopy, Kayak / Fishing / Lodge

After breakfast, we will take our kayak from our lodge, along the Madre de Dios River and arrive at the adventure activities center, we will walk for 5 minutes, and then we will ascend a 20 meter high tower, from there by the hanging bridges, to be able to see the jungle from the top of the trees, as the animals see it, then return to the lodge. Lunch, after a break we will prepare to go fishing in a half hour walk until we reach a small river, where it is possible to fish piranhas and other Amazonian fish, return to the lodge for dinner, after dinner. We will spend the night in our comfortable lodge.

Day 4Lodge / Puerto Maldonado / Airport

After breakfast, around 8:30 am. We will transfer you in our motorized boat to Puerto Maldonado, and from there to the airport and / or bus terminal.

Note: If you have a bus and / or flight later, you can stay at our lodge, but you should know that check out is at 10:00 am. and lunch is priced at S /. 25.00, if you want to do some more activity, the price is S /. 80 soles per person
